We all have many memories from our childhood, including our play dates at home, the plays we made up and acted out with our peers using pillows and sheets, and how much we enjoyed playing the roles of mothers and daughters. We sneaked off to get some makeup, shoes, handbags and whatever else was at hand, to stimulate our childish imagination. One of us would play the role of the mother and another the grandmother, and we would fight over some roles, then we would finish playing when our mothers would enter... and you can imagine the surprise on them.
When we relive these memories now, a big smile appears on our faces, indicating that these were some of the most enjoyable moments, and it makes us think about how these games helped build our personalities and express our growth needs.
When we look at our children today, despite all the entertainment available to them, we hear them expressing their boredom and demanding more entertainment. We almost feel that these are artificial forms of entertainment, eliminating communication between the child and the people around him. They also limit his imagination, as they almost think and imagine for him, and present him with everything ready-made.
Assistant Here I stand and think with you.. I realize that the child of the digital age is different and that he needs to learn the technologies of his time and master the methods of digital communication, but there is no harm and no foul, the best things are those in the middle... He also needs such kinetic games that used to stimulate the child’s most abilities, express his inclinations, develop his skills, strengthen his body and spare him from stagnation.. One of the things in this regard is activating drama at home and school, as it is one of the most successful means in developing the child’s personality and enriching his experiences, and even protecting him from some psychological problems and treating them.
