During the Saudi Cultural Days, “Al-Tarbiyoun” participated in a heritage exhibition (Heritage Diorama), which is a small model depicting the lives of our ancestors in the past, their simple homes and their daily customs in every Saudi region. It also presented a popular market that summarized the most important crafts and professions. The models were made with great craftsmanship, simplifying the most important details. Children learned about the paper maker, the quarrel seller, the cloth seller, the cotton seller, the shoemaker, the cobbler, the perfumer and other professions. The exhibition was opened by the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain and Undersecretary of the Ministry for International Cultural Relations, Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Baqader, who expressed their great admiration for what “Al-Tarbiyoun” presented.
The program was also well received and appreciated by children who stood in amazement in front of the small models that allowed them to see and learn about the popular markets of ancient times.
